A Indian Child Drawing On The Google Home Page

Nine year old Puru Pratap Singh is winner of the Doodle 4 Google contest. Today, Google Search Engine home page display the logo of Puru created My India Google Doodle. He studying 4th standard from Amity International School, Gurgaon, India. Puru won the 4th, 5th, and 6th standards Google India's nationwide doodling competition.
31-year-old Google Webmaster Dennis Hwang who is the brain behind Doodle4Google concept was very fascinated by the rich culture and heritage of the country. "It feels special to have won it," says Puru Pratap Singh. His doodle title is "My India — Full of Life" was chosen from 4,000 nationwide entries through an online poll. It will be displayed on the Google India homepage today, to celebrate Children's Day.


Thousands of users voted for their favorite doodle in each age category between October 21st – 31st, 2009. Google announced the final winner on November 12th, 2009.


* 1st, 2nd and 3rd standards Winner - Sriradha Kapoor, 2nd standard, Dehradhun
* 4th, 5th, and 6th standards Winner - Puru Pratap Singh, 4th standard, Gurgaon
* 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th standards - Anamika Sonai, 8th standard, Ranchi
